Selected Product Technical Facts
- Product identity: Wuji Glove is an independent sensing/data-glove product, not the first-generation hand's optional tactile-sensing glove. The official pages do not specify a hardware revision. Product page, Overview.
- Application and source-reported sensing: Intended for dexterous-hand teleoperation, tactile-data collection and human-robot interaction research. The pressure matrix is 24 x 31, with 526 effective sensing points and tactile output at 120 FPS. Five EMF modules provide fingertip pose at 120 Hz; documented accuracy is <=2 mm RMS position and <5 degrees RMS orientation. A back-of-hand six-axis IMU outputs at 800 Hz. Overview.
- Mass and environment: Net glove mass 67.5 g; mass including cables 192.6 g. EMF sensing is sensitive to metal and ferromagnetic materials; the manufacturer recommends clearance >=3 cm. Tracking needs validation in the intended environment. Overview.
- Interfaces and software: Glove-side USB Type-C, 5 V / 1 A supply; data through adapter accessories via RJ45, 100BASE-TX. Wuji SDK (Python, C) and Wuji CLI provide connection and tactile, EMF and IMU data access. Overview.
- Evidence boundary: An official demonstration uses Wuji Glove to teleoperate Wuji Hand 2. This is a documented demonstration path, not validation of compatibility with third-party robots. Hardware revision and delivery status remain unconfirmed. Glove overview, Hand 2.2 overview.
Company Integration & Application Notes
Entity roles remain unresolved. The directory links these brand products to the Shanghai company record for context. It does not establish that the Shanghai legal entity manufactures, sells or owns the intellectual property of each product. The Shenzhen entity's website and service responsibilities are recorded separately; confirm the contracting, manufacturing and after-sales entities before procurement.
Keep revisions separate. Wuji Hand v1, Hand 2.1 (Beta), Hand 2.2 (Beta) and Wuji Glove are not interchangeable technical records. The first-generation ROS2 driver, Hand 2 description package and glove teleoperation demonstration serve different purposes. None alone establishes third-party plug-and-play compatibility.
Documented integration paths: Hand 2.2 has wrist-flange drawings and models, the official glove-to-Hand-2 teleoperation demonstration, and version-specific SDK resources. First-generation ROS2 driver documentation is separate. Hand 2 hardware integration, Hand 2 overview, First-generation ROS2 installation.
Buyer checks still required: Match mechanical loads, supply, cabling, firmware/SDK and safety conditions to the exact unit. Hand 2.2's missing integration limits must be requested from the supplier; its current static-IP/default-port setup and future interface changes should be checked. Validate glove EMF tracking near metal. Official product display or a contact-to-buy link does not confirm stock, maintenance or delivery terms. These are source-based evaluation notes, not independent tests or compatibility certification.
Before You Evaluate or Order
- Confirm the hardware revision and the adapter, cabling and accessories included in the quotation.
- Confirm host operating-system, firmware and SDK requirements, and the intended robot or data-collection integration path.
- Validate EMF tracking near metal in your intended workspace against agreed task-specific acceptance criteria.
- Request a representative tactile, EMF and IMU data sample and agree data-format, timing and calibration requirements for your software stack.
These points require confirmation for your intended purchase and application. Missing public information does not imply a product deficiency.
