Selected Product Technical Facts
- Identity and application: The right-hand RH56H1 mini five-finger configuration with
42interface andT2tactile configuration, marketed for humanoid robots and fine manipulation. The left-handRH56H1-42L-T2, EtherCATE6configurations and the English page's non-tactileRH56H1-42Rare different part numbers. That non-tactile variant is not added to this reviewed portfolio. Chinese product page, English product page, application news. - Source-reported performance: 6 active degrees of freedom, 11 joints, mass 470 +/- 10 g, fingertip repeatability +/- 0.2 mm, maximum thumb-fingertip grip force >=15 N, other fingertips >=10 N, and hand-closing time <=0.8 s. Full repeatability/force test conditions are not supplied. The Chinese page counts 170 tactile points across the five fingers and 90 in the palm; the English page counts 6 sensor modules. Points and modules are different counting units, not additive totals or an established conflict. Chinese page, English page.
- Power and mounting: The Chinese page states 24-48 V and maximum 5 A at 24 V; the English page lists 24-60 V for the same
-T2model. The permissible upper voltage for the delivered revision needs written confirmation: this profile does not select either limit. Public dimensions are approximately 159.70 x 75.18 mm, not a complete mounting drawing. Request the right-hand revision's holes, tolerances, harness and emergency-stop documentation before designing an adapter. Chinese page, English page. - Control and communication: This exact model lists RS485 + CAN FD; EtherCAT belongs to separate
E6configurations. Marketing text mentions 1 kHz communication without this part number's frame definition, update-rate test conditions, SDK/ROS 2 versions or open-source repository. This is not evidence of ready-made ROS 2 compatibility. The download center lists general RH56 and older tactile-hand manuals/drivers, whose applicability to this model must be confirmed.
Company Integration & Application Notes
Only RH56H1-42R-T2, EG2-5CD14-T1 and BLASF20-142 have detailed technical blocks in this reviewed record. Other profiles identify listed configurations and purchasing checks; do not transfer those three models' parameters to siblings or infer specifications from part-number characters. Actuator entries are representative SKUs, not a complete selection guide. Actuator selection.
Interfaces are model-specific: RH56H1 42 and E6, EG2-5C D12 and D14, and the BLA selection must be matched to the quoted revision. A common bus name does not prove electrical, protocol, timing or safety-chain interoperability. Confirm drawings, power, messages, termination, harness, fingers and load for the intended robot/system. The download center includes older RH56/RH56DFTP manuals and software; document covers and revisions determine applicability, not a shared family name.
The current E2/F2 page contents retain DFTP/F1 in their URLs; this does not resolve whether historical and current series coexist or succeed one another. RH524J1's announcement and exhibition demonstration do not establish orderable hand-side SKUs, production delivery or acceptance evidence. Official series-level references to robotics, new energy, semiconductors, 3C automation and education/research are not validation of every model for those tasks. Request evidence against the intended workpiece, environment, duty cycle and service life. Company profile, J1 announcement.
Before You Evaluate or Order
- Obtain written voltage/current limits for the delivered RH56H1-42R-T2 revision to resolve the published 24-48 V versus 24-60 V discrepancy.
- Request right-hand mounting/pinout, RS485/CAN FD frames, tactile-data access and supported SDK/ROS 2 versions; confirm any 1 kHz claim under defined conditions.
- Agree force, repeatability, closing-time and sensing tests, distinguishing tactile points from sensor modules.
- Confirm the T2 tactile configuration in the quotation, not the non-tactile RH56H1-42R or EtherCAT variants.
These points require confirmation for your intended purchase and application. Missing public information does not imply a product deficiency.
