Selected Product Technical Facts
- Identity and application: The CAN FD tactile configuration of the EG2-5C two-finger servo electric gripper.
EG2-5CD12-T1is the separately listed RS485 configuration, not an interchangeable communication choice. Workpieces, fingers and trajectories need task-specific testing. Chinese page, English page. - Source-reported mechanics: Total two-sided stroke 100 mm, mass 364 +/- 10 g, gripping force 0-20 N, source-labeled "gripping-force adjustment" +/- 1 N, repeatability +/- 0.2 mm, full-stroke closing time 0.6 s, maximum speed 170 mm/s, IP40, recommended ambient 0-40 degrees C. The adjustment figure is not relabeled as calibrated force accuracy. Product page.
- Tactile sensing: Four tactile areas/sensors; normal total measurement range 100 N and tangential 80 N, each stated as the combined two tactile areas per side. Normal accuracy 5% FS, normal resolution 0.1 N, tangential resolution 0.25 N. These sensing ranges are not the gripper's rated gripping force. Product page.
- Power and integration: DC 24-70 V, quiescent current 80 +/- 10 mA at 24 V, peak 1.5 A at 24 V, CAN FD. The supplied page does not include this SKU's finger mounting-hole drawing, electrical pinout, CAN FD messages/termination or control-software version. Shared bus names do not establish plug-and-play mechanical, electrical, protocol or safety compatibility. Product page.
Company Integration & Application Notes
Only RH56H1-42R-T2, EG2-5CD14-T1 and BLASF20-142 have detailed technical blocks in this reviewed record. Other profiles identify listed configurations and purchasing checks; do not transfer those three models' parameters to siblings or infer specifications from part-number characters. Actuator entries are representative SKUs, not a complete selection guide. Actuator selection.
Interfaces are model-specific: RH56H1 42 and E6, EG2-5C D12 and D14, and the BLA selection must be matched to the quoted revision. A common bus name does not prove electrical, protocol, timing or safety-chain interoperability. Confirm drawings, power, messages, termination, harness, fingers and load for the intended robot/system. The download center includes older RH56/RH56DFTP manuals and software; document covers and revisions determine applicability, not a shared family name.
The current E2/F2 page contents retain DFTP/F1 in their URLs; this does not resolve whether historical and current series coexist or succeed one another. RH524J1's announcement and exhibition demonstration do not establish orderable hand-side SKUs, production delivery or acceptance evidence. Official series-level references to robotics, new energy, semiconductors, 3C automation and education/research are not validation of every model for those tasks. Request evidence against the intended workpiece, environment, duty cycle and service life. Company profile, J1 announcement.
Before You Evaluate or Order
- Confirm the CAN FD EG2-5CD14-T1 revision and obtain its pinout, messages/termination, mounting and control-software documentation.
- Agree grip-force and tactile-measurement tests separately: 100 N/80 N sensing ranges are not the 0-20 N gripping-force rating.
- Validate power/current, stroke, cycle timing and intended ambient conditions with the actual fingers, workpieces and robot integration.
- Clarify the source's +/- 1 N gripping-force-adjustment definition and acceptance method rather than assuming calibrated accuracy.
